MILKA DUNO: STREETS OF ST. PETERSBURG ST. PETERSBURG, FL (March 26, 2010) – IZOD IndyCar Driver Milka Duno will compete in her second race of the 2010 IndyCar Series Championship season at the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on Sunday, March 28, 2010. The 1.8-mile, 14-turn street course on the streets of downtown St. Petersburg will be Milka’s second street course competition in an Indy car. This is Milka’s first full-schedule IndyCar season and her first time in an Indy car on many of the circuits on the 2010 schedule. In fact, the first four races of the season will be on tracks that she has never competed on in an Indy car. “The learning curve will be steep for these first four races,” said Milka. “We had hoped to have an opportunity to do more testing at these types of tracks before the start of the season – our program all came together just before the start of the season, so it just wasn’t possible. I know that together with the team we’ll be doing our absolute best to have a good showing and I look forward to competing for the first time in St. Pete. I’ve been to this race before and I know the fans are great and I hope to say “hi” to as many of them as possible!” Milka drives the No.18 CITGO/CANTV car with Dale Coyne Racing.
