MILKA DUNO: INDY 250 IOWA SPEEDWAY  

LOS ANGELES, CA (June 16, 2010) - IZOD IndyCar driver Milka Duno will compete in the Iowa Corn Indy 250 this Sunday, June 20 at Iowa Speedway. The race will air live starting at 130pm ET on VERSUS.

This will be Duno's third race at the 7/8-mile tri-oval designed by Rusty Wallace. Duno's best start at Iowa Speedway was 19th and her best finish was 18th.

Duno hopes to bring to Iowa some of the momentum gained in her last IndyCar race at Texas motor Speedway where she posted 6th fastest in the first practice session for the race and qualified 17th.

"A lot of hard work started to pay some dividends at the Texas race and that's encouraging," commented Milka. "But we still have a lot of work to do. We'll take what we learned at there and bring to Iowa and hopefully build on that. We've all been working very hard and it feels like we're heading in the right direction."

Both practice sessions and the qualifying session will occur on Saturday, June 19 and the qualifications will air on VERSUS on Saturday at 6pm ET.

Duno drives the #18 CITGO/CANTV car with Dale Coyne Racing.
