INDYCAR DRIVER MILKA DUNO VISITS VIVA! CHICAGO LATIN MUSIC FESTIVAL

After racing around Chicagoland Speedway's 1.5mile, D-shaped tri-oval speedway for over 150 laps at speeds over 200mph on Saturday night, IndyCar's only Latina race car driver Milka Duno will head to Grant Park in Chicago on Sunday for the opening of day two of what has been called one of Chicago's most spirited and lively festivals of the year - the 21st annual Viva! Chicago Latin Music Festival.

This vibrant Latin music festival showcases local, national and international talent in the various Latin music genres that include salsa, reggaeton, mariachi, norteña, Spanish pop y más. Many of the artists that will be performing are Grammy award winners and nominees. Festival goers will get to experience the sights and sounds of the Americas, Caribbean and Spain - right in downtown Chicago!

The event is free and is open to the public starting at 11am on Sunday - with the music kicking off at Noon. The festival will feature two musical performance stages, a Salon de Baile, where all are welcome to come and dance to live music as well as stay for the evening DJ’s playing music of all genres.

There will also be a Mercado, or marketplace that will feature all types of goods from fine art to folk art. Milka will greet and sign autographs at the Murray's O'Reilly's Auto Parts booth from Noon until 1pm.

Para los ninos (kids), don’t miss the ComEd Kid’s Zone, complete with a giant inflatable for jumping and a special guest appearance by the Chicago Fire mascot, Sparky.
