CITGO Racing's Miami Post Race Report

March 27, 2006.The CITGO Racing by SAMAX team had a tough hometown race at
Homestead Miami Speedway Saturday evening. Milka Duno started the No. 11
Pontiac-powered Riley Mk XI from 23rd on the 47-car grid for the two-hour
45-minute Rolex Sports Car Series race.

Duno advanced several positions before handing off to Marino Franchitti 53
minutes into the race. Franchitti moved up two positions before a spin put
him into a gravel trap. The unfortunate off-track excursion ended the team's
hope for a good result, but they continued to fight very hard to finish 23rd
overall and in class.

Milka Duno:  "The race was very difficult. It was hard to see inside and
many cars went off, so outside [the racing line] the track was very dirty.
It made the conditions very difficult to drive. I was lucky two or three
times when cars spun in front of me - I avoided them but I had to go onto
the dirty part of the track. It was a very difficult race and I'm sorry we
didn't have a better result especially because I had a lot of friends here
to support me, but that can happen in racing. Sometimes we win here;
sometimes we don't.
We'll have a better race next time."

Marino Franchitti: "The car was a lot better in the race. After the restart,
everybody was queued up and it was just my mistake, I jumped on the brakes
as the traffic slowed up. I spun and put two wheels in the gravel. I'm
frustrated with myself because I made a mistake and I'm frustrated with the
corner workers because it took so long to get me out of the gravel. I guess,
on to [the next race in] Long Beach!"
