Duno, Lammers Set for Brumos Porsche 250
Duo looking for second victory of 2005

Denver, NC (June 29, 2005) . Milka Duno and Jan Lammers are set to team in the #2 CITGO  Pontiac Crawford for the Brumos Porsche 250 at the Daytona International Speedway on Thursday evening, June 30th. The duo has already visited victory lane this season when they teamed with Andy Wallace to win the 6 Heures du Circuit Mont-Tremblant on May 21st. Now, their challenge comes at the track where both drivers had a memorable race earlier this season.

Duno, who teamed with Dan Wheldon and brothers Dario and Marino Franchitti for the Rolex 24 At Daytona, ran a competitive race in the top ten before an accident brought an early end to her hopes of a podium finish. Lammers teamed with Andy Wallace and Tony Stewart in the #20 CITGO Pontiac Crawford to lead a total of 248 laps in the season-opening race. Lammers led twice for 85 laps and brought the car home in third position.

Then, in the first of two six-hour races on the Grand American Rolex Series schedule for 2005, Duno, Lammers, and Andy Wallace won their first race of the season for Howard-Boss Motorsports with a late-race charge to victory at Mont-Tremblant. That win was the third career Rolex Series victory for Duno and the first for Lammers. Now, they tackle a very competitive field in the Brumos Porsche 250.

"I always enjoy racing at Daytona," Duno commented. "And, I'm really looking forward to this race. Just like last year, CITGO Racing and Howard-Boss Motorsports will field two entries for this event, the #20 where Andy (Wallace) will once again team with Tony Stewart, and I'll drive with Jan Lammers in the #2. It's always great when Tony and Jan race with us. We have a very challenging condensed schedule for this race where we only have one day to fit in the practice sessions, qualifying, and the actual race. We'll need to be at our best in order to get a good result, and I know everyone will be working hard toward that goal."

"Last year, Milka (Duno) and I teamed to finish sixth in this event," Lammers added. "This year, we're going to Daytona looking to improve on that result. The CITGO Pontiac Crawford always performs well at Daytona, and I know that the team had been putting a lot of effort into this event. It'll be a very competitive field for Daytona, but I know that our team will be up to the challenge."

The Brumos Porsche 250 is set for an 8 p.m. ET start on Thursday, June 30th, with live television coverage by The Speed Channel.
