CITGO RACING'S MIAMI 250 CHAMPS DUNO AND WALLACE HEAD NEXT TO THE VIR 400 IN VIRGINIA

CITGO Racing and Milka Duno Win Two Races in Six Days

September 22, 2004 - CITGO Racing's Miami 250 champions Milka Duno and Andy Wallace head next to round 10 of the 12-race 2004 Rolex Sports Car Series Championship for the VIR 400 at Virginia International Raceway (VIR) in Alton, VA October 1-3, 2004.

Milka and Andy defended their earlier win at Homestead-Miami Speedway's Grand Prix of Miami in February by capturing the overall win at the second race of the season at the South Florida track - the Miami 250 on September 12, 2004.

The recent win was the second win of the season for Milka and Andy and the Howard-Boss Motorsports team. The win places Milka 4th in Driver Points Standings and Andy in 3rd. The team is 3rd in the Team Point Standings.

Both Milka and Andy competed in the Petit Le Mans 10-hour race at Road Atlanta, GA last weekend - September, 25, 2004 - albeit with separate teams and in open-cockpit prototypes, as opposed to their Roles Series closed-cockpit Daytona Prototypes. Milka raced in the #30 CITGO-branded Lola B2K/40 P2 Le Mans Prototype with teammates Clint Field and Robin Liddell and together they captured the P2 class win - giving both CITGO Racing and Milka Duno their second victory in only six days.

AT VIR Milka and Andy will once again get behind the wheel of the #2 CITGO Pontiac Crawford Daytona Prototype and challenge one of VIR's four courses - the 3.27-mile, 11-turn Full Course.

"It's been a very busy and very successful two weeks," said Milka. "Back-to-back races with back-to-back wins are a tremendous amount of work but also a driver's dream. While I really enjoyed racing at Road Atlanta with such a good crew and co-drivers I'm anxious to get back with the crew at Howard-Boss Motorsports and with Andy again. I'm very happy for CITGO that they have been such a large part of these two wins and hopefully we can give them another good result at VIR."
