MILKA DUNO TO RACE AT MONZA!

LOS ANGELES, CA – June 17, 2003 – Venezuelan Milka Duno will compete this weekend at Italy’s famed Monza circuit as part of the 2003 Superfund World Series by Nissan. Milka will compete for the 3rd straight year in the World Series Light Division which has its 2003 debut at the legendary Italian track.

“I have raced several times at Monza and it has become one of my favorite circuits,” said Milka. “I love racing in Italy and the fans are always wonderful!”

Milka will reunite with the highly respected Italian racing team Vergani Racing for her challenge of the 2003 championship. Milka will pilot the #12 car – a new car developed specifically for the series – that is designed by Dallara with a 250 hp AER engine developed specifically for this car.

Milka, Venezuela’s 2000 “Driver of the Year”, has secured the support of a major Venezuelan corporation - Petroleos de Venezuela S.A. (PDVSA) - for the entire 2003 championship schedule.

“I am so very proud to have the support of such a large and respected company,” said Milka. “That they are from my home country of Venezuela is even more special to me. As I have raced all over the world the past few years, I have been proud to be a representative of Venezuela in many countries. I will continue to do so with even more pride as a representative of PDVSA.”
