What Leading Educators Have Said About Milka and her “Milka Way” Program:
"We are so grateful that the accomplished and beautiful Milka Duno was at CSU Dominguez to speak to the nearly 50,000 family members who came to the education fair, Es El Momento, on October 22, 2011. Milka’s four master’s degrees are proof of her strong belief that education makes the difference and she is dedicated to bringing that message to Latinos and all communities around the world. She is a wonderful role model and inspires others to reach for more in their own lives through education.” Mildred Garcia, President, California State University, Dominguez Hills, California, USA

"Milka came into the school, was received like a rock star, and left our students on top of the world. Her energetic personality was contagious and she made every child feel important that day. I was especially impressed with her willingness to stay and speak personally with our middle school Hispanic students. She was simply wonderful." Carey Dahncke, Principal, Christel House Academy, Indianapolis, Indiana USA

“When Ms. Milka Duno visited our children here at St. Alban’s, there were also a number of parents in the audience; she told them ‘the most important thing you can give your children is an education.’ She told them that her parents in Venezuela sometimes worked two and three jobs so she could study. Milka said that ‘because of their concern and sacrifice, she is most grateful to her parents.’ I wanted Milka to impress upon the children the urgency of seizing all educational opportunities that will come their way, and, she did just that – and the children just loved her presentation.” Franklin F. Sands, Ph.D., Executive Director and C.E.O, St Alban’s Child Enrichment Center, Miami, Florida USA
