Milka Duno Wins Hard Charger of the Race Award at Salem
Duno Earns Her Second Hard Charger Award of the 2012 Season

SALEM, Ind. (September 16, 2012) – Milka Duno won her second CGS Imaging Hard Charger of the Race Award of her 2012 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards season at Salem Speedway yesterday.

The CGS Imaging Hard Charger of the Race Award is awarded to the driver that advances the most positions in a race.

Duno started the 200-lap/111-mile race on Salem Speedway’s half-mile oval 26th and advanced a total of 13 positions - finishing the race 13th.

This is Duno’s second Hard Charger award of the 2012 season. She won her first award this year at New Jersey Motorsports Park, where she also scored her first top-ten finish of her ARCA career by finishing 10th.

“It’s a great feeling to win the CGS Imaging Hard Charger of the Race Award, especially at a challenging track like Salem,” said Duno. “We’ve been doing really well gaining positions in the races and Dave (Crew Chief and Team Owner Dave Leiner) and the team have been working very hard. We need to work on our qualifying runs and if we can get more out of the car there then we’ll have a chance to finish up in the top.”

“Congrats to Milka and the crew on our second Hard Charger Award this year, said Dave Leiner. “We’ve progressed and gained experience with each and every race and that’s just what we’ve intended to do. Next up for us is Kansas Speedway and we’re hard at work for a good showing there.”
