Duno Finishes 14th in ARCA Series Race at Mobile International Speedway

Mobile, Ala. (March 10, 2013) – In her second race with Venturini Motorsports Milka Duno finished 14th in Saturday’s ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards ARCA Mobile 200 at Mobile International Speedway.

Duno started the 200 lap/100 mile race 16th on the grid in the No. 35 Cantv/Milka Way Chevrolet.

The race on Mobile’s 0.5-mile oval generated eleven cautions and Duno advanced as high as 12th before taking the checkered flag in 14th.

“Short track racing is very intense and a specific type of challenge,” said Duno. “We all worked very hard for this race and we worked well together. We were able to make a few adjustments to the car during the race and it helped us a bit. My thanks to the Venturini crew.”

"Milka made great strides throughout the weekend in improving and adjusting to our program,” said Billy Venturini, Director of Competition for Venturini Motorsports. “I really think we will see her competing at a very high level as the season continues. I feel like her willingness to learn and our ability to teach will take her to the level she's been looking to achieve since she started stock car racing."
